What do you do at 51st and Telegraph?
Please wait a moment while your submission is processed...
What's going on here?
you’re looking at thoughts, dreams,
plans, and secrets, sent in by
people who pass through the
intersection of 51st and Telegraph
streets in north Oakland everyday.
why? it’s part of a bigger
experiment to tell the story of
a city by zooming in, way in, on
one intersection. we’re reporting
on everything from lampposts to
manholes, and, here, even what’s
happening inside people’s heads.
stay tuned--our final project rolls
out here at summer’s end. in the
meantime, we’re also blogging
at Oakland North,
a local news site covering Temescal and other
north Oakland neighborhoods.
